A short list for a long-awaited evening, under a glowing sunset.
Short summer reads…
What do you need for a vow renewal? Far less than you needed for your wedding. There is no legal paperwork, no venue licence and no long guest list, just a few thoughtful pieces that make the evening yours.
I'm Leon of Twilight Ceremonies, an accredited celebrant and photographer based in Llandudno. Here is the simple list I share with couples.
The Essentials
Your vows: your originals, refreshed versions or brand new words.
A place: somewhere that means something, chosen together.
Your rings: your wedding rings, or new ones if you like. Vow renewal rings has ideas.
Something to wear: comfortable, and warm enough for the evening breeze.
A celebrant: someone to shape the ceremony and guide you through it.
A way to remember it: photographs, Polaroids or a recording.
What You Do Not Need
No certificate, registrar or notice period is required, because you are already married. That leaves you free to focus on the words and the place.
How the Sunset Vow Renewal Covers It
I write your personalised ceremony, we craft your refreshed vows together over the months before summer, and you receive ten Polaroids the same evening. It is £450.00 on the offerings page, with video and audio recording and digital candid photographs available at £50.00 each.
A Few Extras
A handfasting cord, a reading or a letter to each other can add something personal. Vow renewal readings is a good place to start.
Places to Consider
The beach at Llanfairfechan, the cliffs near Rhoscolyn or the sands at Talacre all glow at sunset.
Anywhere You Choose
You can choose anywhere: home, your garden, elsewhere in the UK or abroad.
Keep the list short and the meaning deep, and the evening will take care of itself. Book a sunset wedding anniversary and we will start shaping yours.
Everything you need, and nothing you do not.
