How Much Does a Vow Renewal Cost in the UK? A Clear Guide for North Wales

Know what you are paying for, then say it all again under a glowing sunset.

Short summer reads…

How much does a vow renewal cost in the UK? The honest answer is anywhere from nothing at all to as much as a second wedding. It depends entirely on what you want the day to hold.

I'm Leon of Twilight Ceremonies, a celebrant and photographer based in Llandudno. Here is how the costs break down, and what my own sunset vow renewal includes.

A Vow Renewal Can Be Free

A vow renewal has no legal status, so there is no fee to pay and no paperwork to file. You can stand on a beach at sunset and speak new vows to each other for nothing. Is a vow renewal legally binding explains why.

What You Pay For When You Spend

Costs come from the people and things you add. The main ones are:

  • A celebrant: someone to write and lead a ceremony that feels personal.

  • Photographs: so the evening lives on beyond memory.

  • A setting: some places are free, while managed venues may charge.

  • Extras: outfits, flowers, food and travel, all entirely optional.

What a Twilight Vow Renewal Costs

My Sunset Vow Renewal is £450.00 on the live offerings page. That includes a personalised sunset ceremony at a location of your choosing and ten Polaroid photographs, handed to you the same evening. We write your refreshed vows together over the months before summer. Optional extras are £50.00 each: video and audio of your ceremony, digital candid photographs before and after, and drone coverage where the location allows. If you would rather skip the ceremony, a couples sunset shoot starts at £95.00.

If You Eloped With Me

Couples who eloped with Elope with Leon receive either a complimentary Twilight celebration (full-day elopements) or 15% off (half-day elopements). First anniversary after eloping shows how that return can feel.

Wherever Feels Right

North Wales gives you Anglesey sunsets, West Shore, the Llŷn and the Conwy estuary, but you can choose anywhere, including your garden or the place you married. Abroad is an option too, and Ibiza is one we can talk about.

The best value is a renewal that sounds like the two of you. See how a vow renewal ceremony is put together, then book a sunset wedding anniversary when you are ready.

A clear price, a glowing sky, and promises made all over again.
